dah sebulan senyap lepas balik dari one week trip to Australia. Sebab kebetulan ramai staf baru shuffle to same unit, so tak boleh nak hand over / rely 100% kat diaorg. I touch down Malaysia 29th, esoknya dah masuk opis. Habiskan kerja yang tak habis habis.
lets begin the Travelogy. My hubby ARMy who choose for this trip. As I mentioned entry before this, my hubby punye kawan TAK JADI PERGI...so kami bertiga je (me, husband and baby Ian- 6 months old).
This our first time to land of Australia. And first time fly for my baby Ian, second oversea entry for him. His first to Thailand,Krabi by land.
VISA - is a must to enter Australia. But it just take 1 day /2 days.
cash in pocket - Me and husband bring equal Cash RM3,000 p.pax for change AUD 1000.
(means we bring aud2,000).
beg luggage - 1 big luggage both of us & Ian luggage into deck cargo. Bawak naik atas flight, Beg pampers+Beg camera hubby.
Accomodation - dah book via Airbnb and ade jugak tido umah Malaysian (kawan).

flight scheduled 10am dari LCCT. My parents send us to LCCT because they really missed their cucu (for a week).Flight was departed on time. We fly on Airasia X...which is the seats just 10cm bigger dari AK biasa. So untuk org lelaki mmg muat lah sikit. We were on right row-window seat. Luckily my husband friend didn't follow, seat enough for my little Ian to hop,crawl and sleep. Booking bassinet penuh. Dinasihatkan, sape yang bawak anak bawah umur toddler, booking awal front line seat for bassinet baby.

Tapi sepanjang I jalan2 dalam flight, mostly yang front row ialah senior citizen je...coz diaorg nak berlunjur kaki.
So utk keselamatan baby Ian yang duduk atas riba i,Airasia crew datang kasi child seat buckle. Attached sekali dengan guardian. Just hook in adult seatbelt with the kids.
Flight ke Coolangata Aiport Gold Coast ambil masa lebih kurang 8jam. So, masa 3 jam pertama,mulalah jualan food and followed by Souvenir.
Kami lupa nak book food online. So beli je lah guna RM which all ala carte RM15/1 meal. Lapar and still x mengantuk, we decide beli 3 Main course +3 air, kacang Tongs..habis dalam RM60.
Then layan tido. My baby sleep and jaga and sleep and play ipad....
Both of us layan The Internship and tertido. Sampai 4pm++ perasan macam dah nak senja. Cantik sangat awan,kepul2 putih and orange. I rase dah 5jam atas awan, sure dah lalu Australia. Al maklumlah, Tanah besar Oz ni.
Time 8:20pm, we finally arrived. I'm so thankful ya Allah for the blessed safe journey. Once touch down,i can see its already dark,macam kul 11AM Malaysia dah. Aiport kecik je. Macam Langkawi. Then mulalah pencarian Kereta sewa. Rupanya, pilih kereta sewa ni ade PATUT / TAK PATUT nya..its actualy depends on what activity u nak buat kat OZ tu (because u kene calculate expenditure korang).
Time ni actualy aku quite disappointed dgn front line rental car staf tu.
Sombong and bo layan kalau walk in. Kita biasalah survey dulu, kaunter by kaunter, dorang pun ade gak KEREK N SOMBONG.... konon nak bolayan kite coz kita just tanya quotation.
and my hubby pun nak naik marah.
So untuk rent car meh I kasi tips:
- if you all just nak visit tourist spot, better x yah rent. Coz local public transport mmg efficient. On time,frequent and bersih. So jangan membazir sewa keta coz minyak/fuel (aud1.60/RM4.80 seliter) and parking hourly (aud3 / RM10).Hourly ok.
- plis back up credit card. Coz untuk sign in kereta sewa dioarg tak terima debit card as kite Malaysian used to. So CREDIT CARD ONLY.
- every walk in customer,they need SUM OF MONEY or bond duit. Dalam AUD200/RM600 (akan dipulangkan).And kalau kiosk rental car kat airport tu, dorang xnak cash. Dorang nak credit card. If kot jadi ape2, dorang swipe je.
- kalau yang anak ramai or rombongan ramai, dinasihatkan sewa lah kereta, tapi plis BOOK EARLY FROM MALAYSIA. Coz harga daily rental internet rate n walk in mmg beza sangat. Contoh,kitaorg walk in terus gi kiosk tanya dapat AUD 100/RM300 perday untuk keta Hyundai i20.Padahal if online, dapat AUD35 je. Beza x?????
- yang bawak baby, better online book awal, coz korang WAJIB amik BABY CARRIER yang harga (AUD 12/RM36) per day.
- sewa kereta WAJIB ambil GPS...cost about AUD 9/RM 27 PERDAY.
that's the tips. So kami yang agak frust,penat,try cari solution.... gi cari SIM pack temporary kat 7E airport and made a call to owner house AIR BNB... cakap kate kite dah sampai.
Tgk jam dah pukul 9.45PM..nasib climate a bit chilled. dalam 23celcius gitu. So that's why my son x merengek. Then we get the shuttle BUS to the town of GC. Harga tiket bus : AUD15/RM45 per pax.
Rumah Bills (owner) was at Thornton Street.Perjalanan hanya 20 minits bus dari airport ke Surfer Paradise.
Bus tu rupanya hantar agak jauh dari umah Bills. Kena pulak menolak stroller and big bag ke rumah dier.... rupanya Bill ni dah tua dah. Dah terketar-ketar. Age 70+ tinggal ngan wife dier nama Tricia.
Rumah kondo dalam 15 tingkat. Kitaorg tingkat 10. Got 3 rooms. Tapi hanya satu bilik je disewakan. Kami dapat rate untuk 3H2M RM700+ kot. Oklah, coz kami consider ade baby yang kecik. So kite as resident temporary ni, bleh guna kitchen, meja makan,toilet,WIFI free, and all that apartment facilities. Ade gym and swimming pool.
And time 11.20pm....tapi suasana Surfer Paradise macam dah 3am. Sunyi!...... xpelag, tunggu esok ape pulak perasaan ku :)
